The library has 24 public-access workstations, which users may access the internet and other resources such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.

Patrons under 18 must have their own library card to use the computers. If you are over 18, you may ask for a guest pass at the Circulation or Information Desks.

Computers are divided into three usage groups: adult, teen, and children.

Three study rooms with computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please view our study booth policies

We also have wi-fi that you may access with any wif-fi-capable device. There is no password, and you don't need a library card to access it. Just choose Library Wi-fi from your wi-fi options when you are within the building.

We have black-and-white printing that is $0.10/page. We accept cash and checks.

NEW! We now have wireless printing! You must be logged into Bastrop Public Library's wifi to access. Please stop in and get further instructions at the Information Desk.

We also have scanning capabilities. We are able to scan your job and save it to a flashdrive, which you may then plug into one of our public computers or your own laptop to access and further save and/or email.

At this time, we are not able to offer faxing services. We suggest you visit Bastrop Copier or Staples to fax.

Other Technology

In addition, we have a typewriter and a copy machine. With prior arrangement, library staff will also proctor distance education exams. Please talk with the librarian at the Information Desk to schedule proctoring.
