Mission

The City of Bastrop Finance Department is dedicated to responsibly managing the City's financial affairs with transparency and efficiency. Our core functions include accounting, auditing, cash and debt management, revenue collection, and asset oversight. We prepare a comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) and collaborate with the City Manager to develop the City's annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring fiscal sustainability and strategic growth.
