General Information

Unless otherwise specified, all public hearings take place at City Hall, located at:

1311 Chestnut Street

Bastrop, Tx 78602

Some public hearings require a mailed notice to property owners surrounding the project, such as changes in zoning.

Active Cases Requiring Public Hearing

The Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop Texas and City Council will conduct a public hearing (first reading) Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. and (second reading) November 12, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas on the following requests:

Hold a public hearing and consider action on a recommendation for the Zoning Concept Scheme, changing the zoning of 2.20 acres out of Building Block 111 east of Water Street, located east of HW 95, within the City of Bastrop from P4 Mix to P3 Residential.

Hold a public hearing and consider action on a recommendation for the Zoning Concept Scheme, changing the zoning of 2 acres out of Building Block 110 east of Water Street, located east of HW 95, within the City of Bastrop from P5 Core to P3 Residential.
