General Information

Unless otherwise specified, all public hearings take place at City Hall, located at:

1311 Chestnut Street

Bastrop, Tx 78602

Some public hearings require a mailed notice to property owners surrounding the project, such as changes in zoning.

Active Cases Requiring Public Hearing

The City Council will conduct a public hearing (first reading) Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. and (second reading) Tuesday, July 23, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas on the following request:

Public hearing and consider action to approve the request for voluntary annexation for Nancy Blakey, Abstract A98, being 10.60 +/- acres of land, located north of State Highway 71 and west of Farm-to-Market Road 969, located within the City of Bastrop Extraterritorial Jurisdiction.
