General Information

Unless otherwise specified, all public hearings take place at City Hall, located at:

1311 Chestnut Street

Bastrop, Tx 78602

Some public hearings require a mailed notice to property owners surrounding the project, such as changes in zoning.

Active Cases Requiring Public Hearing

The City Council will conduct a public hearing (first reading) Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. and (second reading) Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas on the following request:

Conduct a public hearing, consider and act on a recommendation to request for voluntary annexation for Nancy Blakey, Abstract A98, being 23.298 +/- acres of land, located north of State Highway 71 and west of Farm-to-Market Road 969, located within the City of Bastrop Statutory Extraterritorial Jurisdiction.

 

Interested persons are invited to provide comments at the public hearings. Written comments may be sent to the Development Services Department prior to the public hearings, 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas 78602, or email plan@cityofbastrop.org. For questions, call (512) 332-8840.
