February 9th:  Canvass results of election at 6:30 p.m. City Hall, 1311 Chestnut Street.


 


CITY OF BASTROP MAY 7, 2022 ELECTION - CANCELED


Requirements for filing for candidacy:

 

• Must be a registered voter in the State of Texas at the time of filing application for place on the ballot
• Shall be a resident of the City of Bastrop
• Shall have resided within the corporate limits of the City of Bastrop for at least one year preceding the election date of May 7, 2022
• Shall not have been convicted of a felony criminal offense or crime involving moral turpitude and shall not be in violation of any other provision in the charter.


First Day to file for a place on the ballot – January 19, 2022


Last Day to file for a place on the ballot – February 18, 2022 by 5:00 p.m.
