Pavilion Rental Information 

If you are planning a "Special Event" (an event that includes fundraising, vendors, street closures, canopies, displays, or any additional needs from the City of Bastrop) you must complete a Special Event Application. For more information e-mail Victoria Psencik at vpsencik@cityofbastrop.org.

  • All reservations MUST be made IN PERSON.  Rental and Deposit fees are due at that time.
  • Pavilion rentals cannot be tentatively held over the phone or email.
  • For information on reserving a pavilion and set up an appointment please email Victoria Psencik at vpsencik@cityofbastrop.org.
  • Reservation hours are from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • Alcohol is not allowed in parks per City Ordinance.
  • Park Hours: 6:00 am-10:00 pm

  • Check, exact cash or,money orders made payable to City of Bastrop are the acceptable forms or payment. 
  • No debit/credit cards.
  • There is a service charge on a returned check, as set by the District Attorney’s office. 
  • Damage or maintenance as a result of the rental will be charged against the deposit. 
  • Request for security deposit and/or other fees will be submitted for refunding if the city property is clean and free of litter, and no damages. Expect to receive the refund check via US mail 4 to 6 weeks after rental date.

Reserved areas are inspected by Parks personnel on Monday and Friday.  Security cameras are in place, as well.

  • Personal BBQ pits must be set up away from pavilion, other structures, and trees, and must be monitored at all times.  Do not dump coals in trash or on the ground—bring appropriate container and fill with water to cover hot coals.

  • NO -- piñatas, alcohol, glass containers, confetti eggs, water balloons, pools, slip n' slides, sprinklers, inflatable play areas (bounce houses), rock-climbing walls/related items, horses/farm animals/petting zoos.

Refunds and Cancellations:

Requests for refund of security deposit and/or other fees will be submitted, if city property is clean and free of litter, and no damage. Expect to receive refund 4-6 weeks after rental date. 

  • Cancellation due to RAIN OUT
    • Renter MUST email vpsencik@cityofbastrop.org by the next business day to receive FULL refund of fee and deposit. 
    • Failure to contact the City of Bastrop by the next business day will result in only a refund of the deposit. 
    • Rain-out in rented area will be confirmed by Parks and Recreation Employee. 
  • Refund of deposit and fee if cancellation is secondary to construction and/or maintenance of said facility
  • Full refund of deposit and fee, if cancelled via email, more than seven (7) days prior to the rental date.
  • Refund of one-half (½) of the deposit and fee, if cancelled via email between seven (7) days and 24-hours prior to the rental date.
  • The deposit and fee will not be refunded if cancelled less than 24-hours before the day of the rental.
