Pavilion Rental Information 

If you are planning a 'Special Event'*, you must complete a Special Event Application.

*(A Special Event is any event that includes or requires fundraising, vendors, street closures, canopies, displays, or any additional needs from the City of Bastrop.) 

  • All reservations MUST be made IN PERSON.  Rental and Deposit fees are due at that time.
  • For information on setting up an appointment for a pavilion reservation, please contact City Hall at (512) 332-8800.
  • Pavilion rentals cannot be tentatively held over the phone or email.
  • Alcohol is not allowed in parks Per City Ordinance, alcohol is not allowed in City parks without obtaining a variance from the City Council.

  • Check, exact cash, money orders, credit/debit cards are the acceptable forms or payment. 
  • There is a service charge on a returned check, as set by the District Attorney’s office. 
  • Damage or maintenance as a result of the rental will be charged against the deposit. 
  • Request for security deposit and/or other fees will be submitted for refunding if the city property is clean and free of litter, and no damages. Expect to receive the refund check via US mail 4 to 6 weeks after rental date.

Reserved areas are inspected by Parks personnel on Monday and Friday.  Security cameras are in place, as well.

  • NO -- piñatas, alcohol, glass containers, confetti eggs, water balloons, pools, slip n' slides, sprinklers, inflatable play areas (bounce houses), rock-climbing walls/related items, horses/farm animals/petting zoos.

Refunds and Cancellations:

Requests for refund of security deposit and/or other fees will be submitted, if city property is clean and free of litter, and no damage. Expect to receive refund 4-6 weeks after rental date. 

  • Cancellation due to RAIN OUT
    • Renter must contact the City of Bastrop by the next business day to receive FULL refund of fee and deposit. 
    • Failure to contact the City of Bastrop by the next business day will result in only a refund of the deposit. 
    • Rain-out in rented area will be confirmed by Parks and Recreation Employee. 
  • Refund of deposit and fee if cancellation is secondary to construction and/or maintenance of said facility
  • Full refund of deposit and fee, if cancelled via email, more than seven (7) days prior to the rental date.
  • Refund of one-half (½) of the deposit and fee, if cancelled via email between seven (7) days and 24-hours prior to the rental date.
  • The deposit and fee will not be refunded if cancelled less than 24-hours before the day of the rental.
