On December 1st and 2nd, the 2nd Grade Classes from Mina Elementary came to Fisherman's Park to decorate Christmas Trees. Each child made a recycled ornament out of a CD and were taught a valuable lesson of community service and giving back to their community of Bastrop. Later the kids enjoyed hot chocolate and candy canes along with Christmas goody bags provided the Parks & Recreation Department.
