WILLIAM (BILL) ENNIS

Bill Ennis is a native Texan and was reared in Alvin, south of Houston, where he still has family.
He has lived most of his adult life in central Texas, previously in Austin and for the past twenty-six years in Bastrop.

He recently retired from the Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA) in Austin, where he served as Vice President for Membership & Communication and as Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors.   His thirty-six year tenure at TXOGA afforded him the opportunity to work with some of the most powerful decision makers in the State and provided him a wealth of experience in government and policy making.

His time in Bastrop has been marked by his level of volunteerism and his contributions to many different organizations, both charitable and governmental.

He is married and lives in his home on Pecan Street.
