Building Forms

Please print, complete, and submit to the City of Bastrop Planning Department at 1311 Chestnut Street (drop off location), P.O. Box 427 (mailing address), Bastrop, Texas 78602. Hard copy and digital submittals are required for all applications.

  • Building Permit Application Packet - includes additional info for a new build
  • Building Permit Application
  • Floodplain Permit Application - needed for any work proposed in the floodplain, in addition to the building permit application
  • Historic Landmark Commission (HLC) Application
  • Moving Building Application Packet - needed when moving a building into, throughout, or out of the City
  • Sign Application - needed for all temporary or permanent signs
  • Septic Application
  • Trade Permit Application - for electric, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, or roofing work
