Andres Rosales,
Patrol Officer
Hello, my
name is Andres Rosales. I was born in Lubbock, Texas, but raised
in nearby Leander for most of my life. I moved back to Lubbock
in 2003, after graduating from Burnet High School, to continue
my education. I met some great people in Lubbock which lead me
to become a Certified Firefighter / EMT-Basic. I worked as a Firefighter/EMT
for 4 years and also as an EMS Dispatcher for 3 years. In March
2007, I decided I wanted to change it up a bit and become a police
officer. I graduated from South Plains Association of Governments
Law Enforcement Academy as a Basic Peace Officer in August 2007.
After graduation, I decided I wanted to move to the Austin area
to further my career. On October 10, 2007, I was fortunate enough
to be hired by Chief David Board to serve and protect the city
of Bastrop. Luckily my family and friends are very supportive,
so my fiancé and I packed up and here we are. We both look
forward to serving the citizens as well as living in Bastrop.
