you like to learn more about your Police Department; meet your
local Patrol Officers and become familiar with its policies and
procedures?
Would you like to help prevent crime in your neighborhood?
You
will learn about the new crime fighting programs that have been
introduced in the City of Bastrop. You will learn how your tax
dollars are spent on various training programs and equipment,
through all of this you will gain a better understanding of
how the department works within the City. You will learn about
the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and the NEW
C.O.P. Citizens on Patrol Program. The most important things
that you will learn is how to become an active participant in
crime prevention in your neighborhood and the community. These
skills are assets that can be utilized anywhere. Call
