Employee of the Month for April 2008 Administrative Assistant to the Chief Debra Royal The Bastrop Police Department is proud to announce Debbie Royal as the recipient of the Employee of the Month for April 2008.  Debbie Royal, Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police, among many other functions coordinates the Department’s Annual Turkey Drive fundraiser and provides a supporting role in the day to day operations of the department. Debbie Royal has been with the Department for the past four years. Debbie was selected to receive this award by her peers to for all her positive attitude, her commitment to do her very best and for all the support she gives them on a daily basis.
