Reserve Officer Brian Platts
My name is Brian Platts;
I am the youngest of 4 brothers. I was born and raised in the small
town of Batesville, TX 20 miles south of Uvalde, TX. I attended
Laredo Community College on a baseball scholarship and graduated
with an Associate in Criminal Justice and minor in Spanish in 1999.
I then transferred to Tarleton State University on another baseball
scholarship and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice
and a minor in English in 2001. After Completing college, I decided
to attend the Del Mar Police Academy in Corpus Christi, TX and graduated
in May of 2003. I was then fortunate enough to be selected to work
for Chief Board and the City of Bastrop, where I plan to serve this
great community for years to come.
