Sandra Hernandez, Patrol Officer
Hello, my name is Sandra Hernandez.I was born in Giddings,TX, but raised in Waco,TX.
In 1999 my family decided to move to La Grange,TX so we could be closer to our extended family.I graduate from La Grange H.S. in 2001 and in 2004 from Blinn College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science.In 2005 I was employed by the Family Crisis Center here in Bastrop, TX and was the Child Abuse Prevention Educator.I presented presentations to elementary students on ways to stay safe, here in Bastrop County and surrounding local counties. In 2007 I decided to attend CAPCOG Regional Training Academy and graduate in the top percent of my class on April 4, 2008 with my Basic Peace Officer's Certificate.I am very grateful that Chief Board hired me and look forward to serve and protect the citizens of Bastrop,TX.
