2007 Ordinances

Ordinance No. 2007-1	An ordinance granting a zoning designation of C1, Commerical -1 (Light) for a +/- 43.112 acre tract generally located on Highway 71 West between Pecan Park Subdivision and Pecan Crossing Subdivision, Bastrop County, Texas; and establlishing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 2007- 2	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas rescinding prior City Ordinance No. 2006-9, which restricted left turns from Chestnut Street into Alley "A" restricted left turns from Chestnut Street into Alley "A" and Alley "B", and, from Alley "A" and Alley "B" onto Chestnut Street; and providing for an effective date of this rescinding ordinance.
Ordinance No. 2007- 3	An ordinance granting a request for a conditional use permit from Lamar and Jennifer Ozley to allow for the construction of a garage 750 square feet in area and the use of an accessory dwelling over said garage on approximately 0.424 acres in an area zoned "SF-7" single family residential within the City Limits of Bastrop, Texas; setting out conditions; and providing an effective date. Ordinance No. 2007- 4	An ordinance granting a zoning designation of C1, Commercial -1 (Light) for a +/- 25.654 acre tract located approximately 200 feet north of the intersection of Old Austin Highway and Hasler Boulevard, Bastrop County, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 5	An ordinance amending the budget for the fiscal year 2007 in accordance with existing statutory requirements; appropriating the various amounts herein; repealing all prior ordinances and actions in conflict herewith; and providing for an effective date. Ordinance No. 2007- 6	An ordinance granting a conditional use permit to Charles and Cynthia Pence to allow for the construction of a garage/carport 1,009 square feet in size with a storage area of approximately 0.232 acres in an area zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential within the City Limits of Bastrop, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 8	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Section 10.609 of the Code of Ordinances to establish a no parking zone on the North side of Walnut Street, beginning at the Northeast corner of the intersection of Pecan and Walnut Streets, and extending Eastward for +/- 80 linear feet; directing that signs be erected to reflect this change.
Ordinance No. 2007- 9	An ordinance granting a conditional use permit to Joseph and Nancy Beal to allow for the expansion of an existing garage/workshop to allow for a three (3) car carport approximately 912 square feet with the existing guest house to the east thus creating on accessory structure 1,609 square feet in area, on approximately +/- 0.900 of an acre in an area zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential within the City Limits of Bastrop, Texas; setting out conditions; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 2007- 10	Ordinance authorizing the issuance of $2,320,000 City of Bastrop, Texas combination Tax and Revenue Certificate of Obligation Series 2007, adopted on May 22, 2007. Ordinance No. 2007- 11	Ordinance authorizing the issuance of $1,220,000 City of Bastrop, Texas General Obligation Bond Series 2007, adopted on May 22, 2007. (This ordinance may be viewed in its' entirety at the Bastrop Public Library, or by contacting the City Secretary's Office.)
Ordinance No. 2007- 12	An ordinance amending the budget for the fiscal year 2007 in accordance with existing statutory requirements; appropriating the various amounts herein; repealing all prior ordinances and actions in conflict herewith.
Ordinance No. 2007- 13	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas, Providing for the annexation of certain territory consisting of the described properties in Bastrop, Bastrop County, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 14	An ordinance of the City Council for the City of Bastrop, Texas, creating a Municipal Sign Review Board; amending Chapter 3, Aritcle 3.1400, Section 20 of the City's Code of Ordinances, entitled 'Sign Code', concerning sign code variance procedures.
Ordinance No. 2007- 15	An ordinance replacing Article 12 "Appendix "A" (Zoning Ordinance) of the Bastrop City Code pertaining to rules for lighting and glare standards.
Ordinance No. 2007- 16	An ordinance amending Chapter 9, "Subdivisions" of the Bastrop City Code, Appedndix "A", Section 1, entitled "General", related to drainage design criteria, and establishing drainage design requirements.
Ordinance No. 2007- 17	An ordinance amending Chapter 9, "Subdivisions" of the Bastrop City Code, Appendix "A", Section 1, Entitled "General", providing rules and regulation s establishing standards for traffic impact analysis and improvements to the transpostation network, to be entitled "Traffic Impact Analysis" (TIA).
Ordinance No. 2007- 18	An ordinance amending Chapter 9, "Subdivisions" of the Bastrop City Code, Appendix "A:" Section 1, entitled "General", providing for expiration of dormant final subdivision plats.
Ordinance No. 2007- 19	An ordinance amending Chapter 7 "Offenses & Nuisances" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Bastrop, Texas Article 7.500, et seq. "Noise and Sound Level Regulation" to include a general prohibition against "Engine Braking" within the corporate limits.
Ordinance No. 2007- 20	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Appendix A-1 of the City of Bastrop Zoning ordinance adopting a planned development district applicable to Bastrop County Complex. Ordinance No. 2007- 21	An ordinance providing for a portion of Hill Street, a public street located in Bastrop, Texas, to be closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the West Campus / Ninth Grade Center School building between Elm Street and the North Entrance to the Hill Street parking lot during the school day, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and on other occasions as determined to be necessary for public safety by the City Manager.
Ordinance No. 2007- 22	An ordinance granting a request for a conditional use permit from Joe and Nancy Beal to allow for the creation and construction of a 360 square foot expansion to an existing 1,609 square foot accessory structure, on approximately 0.900 of an acre in an area zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential within the City Limits of Bastrop, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 23	An ordinance granting a request for a conditional use permit from Lee B. and Janean Whitten to allow for the creation and construction of an accessory building approximately 1,702 square feet in an area consisting of a three car garage with carport and a game room within the structure on approximately 1.051 acres in an area zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential within the City Limits of Bastrop, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 24	An ordinance granting a request to rezone an area zoned "C-1" Commercial (light) to zoning designation "C-2" commerical (heavy) a +/- 3.446 acre tract out of the Nancy Blakey A98 survey on the north side of State Highway 7, generally located at 507 State Highway 71 west.
Ordinance No. 2007- 25	An ordinance granting a conditional use permit to Gonzalo and Phyliss Gonzales to allow for a manufactured home to be placed at 706 Linden Street, on approximately 0.475 of an acre in an area zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential within the City Limits of Bastrop, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 26	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Chapter 1, Article 1.500 of the City's Code of Ordinances, entitled "Form of Government" to add new Sections 1.500.1, 1.500.2 and 1.500.3 to provide for uniform rules and regulations applicable to all city apppointed boards, commissions, corporations, authorities, and entities, related to "board member attendance", "quorums" and training.
Ordinance No. 2007- 27	An ordinance modifying the contractual rates paid to allied waste services for residential and commercial garbage collection service by allied waste services, amending the rate of residential and commercial garbage service charged to the citizens of Bastrop, Texas for administrative costs and service rates.
Ordinance No. 2007- 28	An ordinance adopting a budget for the ensuing fiscal year beginning October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2008, in accordance with existing statutory requirements.
Ordinance No. 2007- 29	An ordinance levying a tax rate for the City of Bastrop for the Tax Year of 2007.
Ordinance No. 2007- 30	An ordinance amending the Historic Landmark Preservation Ordinance, of the City of Bastrop Code of Ordinances.
Ordinance No. 2007- 31	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas replacing existing Article 4.1100 of the City's Code of Ordinances with a revised and expanded article 4.1100, entitled "Prohibition Against Drilling and Mining Operations," including any and all excavation and drilling operations, within the City Limits of Bastrop.
Ordinance No. 2007- 32	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas, providing for the annexation of certain territory consisting of a 46.734 acre tract in the Nancy Blakey Survey Abstract No. 98 in Bastrop County, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 33	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "A/OS-Agricultural / Open Space" to "C-2 - Commercial (heavy)" for a 46.734 +/- acre tract of land out of the Nancy Blakey Survey Abstract No. 98, Bastrop, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2007- 34	An ordinance of the City of Bastrop authorizing the Bastrop Fire Department to seek reimbursement of costs of certain emergency, fire and rescue services provided by the Bastrop Fire Department, for services provided within the response area of the Bastrop Fire Department.
Ordinance No. 2007- 35	An ordinance amending the budget for the fiscal year 2007 in accordance with existing statutory requirements; appropriating the various amounts herein; repealing all prior ordinances and actions in conflict herewith.
