2005 Ordinances

Ordinance No. 2005-1	An ordinance annexing a sparsely occupied 22.360 (+/-) acre tract of land, and a sparsely occupied 21.021 (+/-) acre tract of land on petition of area landowners, Bradley Duff and Robert Duff, Trustees, pursuant of section 43.028 of the local government code, and providing for an effective date.
Ordinance No. 2005-2	An ordinance amending Appendix A Article 7.000 of the Bastrop Code of Ordinances, regarding utility related fees to reflect cost adjustments in residential and commercial electric rates.
Ordinance No. 2005-3	An ordinance amending Chapter 9, Article 9.100, "Impact Fees," of the Bastrop City Code by approving, adopting and implementing an update of the City of Bastrop Impact Fee Ordinance in accordance with Chapter 395 of the Texas Local Government Code.
Ordinance No. 2005-4	An ordinance amending Bastrop Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Article 4.000, Section 4.500, Maximum Fees to be Charged for Nonconsent Towing Service.
Ordinance No. 2005-5	An ordinance amending the Bastrop City Code Chapter 10, Traffic Control, Article 10.400, et seq. related to the location of stop signs within the city.
Ordinance No. 2005-6	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas, amending Chapter 4, Article 4.300 "Peddlers" of the code of ordinance of the City of Bastrop, Texas to read "Peddlers, Solicitors, Vendors, Temporary/Seasonal and/or Multiple Vendors and Events" and by adding and amending definitions and permitting regulations.
Ordinance No. 2005-7	An ordinance amending Bastrop Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Article 4.200, et seq., "Itinerant Merchant or Vendor License Fees".
Ordinance No. 2005-8	An ordinance amending the budget for the fiscal year 2005 in accordance with existing statutory requirements.
Ordinance No. 2005-9	Authorizing the vacating and abandonment of a street, alley, and/or public rights-of-way, or a portion thereof.

Ordinance No. 2005-11	An ordinance revoking and replacing Chapter 3, Article 2.100 Et Seq. of the Bastrop City Code of Ordinances, related to animal control; repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith.
Ordinance No. 2005-12	An ordinance denying a request for a conditinoal use permit to allow a private stable for horses to be located at 2303 Pecan Street for a 1.00 +/- acre tract located out of farm lot 11 east of Main Street in an area zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential.
Ordinance No. 2005-13	An ordinance amending the Bastrop City Code Chapter 11, Utilities and Solid Waste, Article 11.200, Section 11.202 concerning water and wastewater rates: amending Appendix A, Fee Schedule, Article 7.000, Section 7.100 Wastewater Service charge.
Ordinance No. 2005-14	An ordinance granting a request for a conditinal use permit to allow a maunfactured home to be located at 708 Linden Street for a 0.475 +/- acre tract located out of farm lot 7 East of Main Street in an area zoned "SF-7"- Single Family Residential.
Ordinance No. 2005-15	An ordinance amending City of Bastrop Code of Ordinances "Appendix A: Fee Schedule; Article 2.000, et seq." relating to fees for animal permits, adoption, impoundment and animal control; setting penalties for violations of same.
Ordinance No. 2005-16	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas, amending Chapter 7 of the City Code related to offenses and nuisances, adding new Section 7.800, et seq., entitled "Rewards for Reporting, " providing for rewards to individuals reporting criminal mischief and vadalism information leading to arrests.

Ordinance No. 2005-19	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Ordinance No. 2003-19, related to the Hunter's Crossing Planned Development District; amending Section 305.31(J) regarding permitted signage.
Ordinance No. 2005-20	An ordinance amending Appendix A Article 7.000 of the City of Bastrop Code of Ordinances, regarding utility related fees to reflect cost adjustments in Key Accounts and Municipal Electric Rates.
Ordinance No. 2005-21	An ordinance amending the Bastop City Code of Ordinances Chapter 11, Utilities and Solid Waste, Article 11.200, Section 11.202 concerning water and wastewater rates by adding a new section; amending Appendix A; Fee Schedule, Article 7.000, by adding Sections 7.110 "Annual License Fees" and 7.120 "Wastewater Treatment Plant Septic Unloading Fees".

Ordinance No. 2005-25	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "AOS- Agricultural Open Space" to "C-1 Commercial" for a 0.92 +/- acre tract of land owned by DM Pecan Park Associates, LTD and McDowell Developement, LLC, which is located in Bastrop County, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2005-26	An ordinance approving a request for a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a bed and breadfast to be located at 502 Elm Street for a 0.344+/- acre tract located out of Farm Lot 4 West of Main Street in an area zoned "SF-7" - single family residential.
Ordinance No. 2005-27	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "LI- Light Industrial" to "C-2 - Commercial (Heavy)" for a 1.149 +/- acre tract of land out of lots 1-1608, 1-1609, 1-1610 and 1-1611, Block 24 Tahitian Village Unit One, Bastrop, Texas, owned by Emerson 71 Commercial Venture, LTD.
Ordinance No. 2005-28	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "SF-7 - Single Family Residential" to "MF-1-Multi-Family" for a 1.0420 +/- acre tract of land out of Farm Lot 7 West of Main Street which is located at 610 Linden St. , Bastrop, Texas, owned by Jack and Lillian Quon.
Ordinance No. 2005-29	An ordinance amending the Budget for the Fiscal Year 2005 in accordance with existing statutory requirements; appropriating the various amounts herein.

Ordinance No. 2005-31	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop amending Article 1.1800 of the Bastrop City Code of Ordinances to adopt a new section 1.18113 pertaining to adoption of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) as the standard for incident management.
Ordinance No. 2005-32	An ordinance annexing a sparsely occupied 11.522 (+/-) acre tract of land out of the Nancy Blakey Survey, Abstract No.98, in Bastrop County, Texas, on petition of area landowner, Sabine Investment Company, pursuant to section 43.028 of the Local Government Code.
Ordinance No. 2005-33	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "A/OS-Agricultural/Open Space" to planned development residential for a 12.769 +/- acre tract of land out of the Nancy Blakey Survey A-98 which is located in Hunters Crossing, Section 4B Subdivision, Bastrop, Texas, owned by Sabine Investment Company.
Ordinance No. 2005-34	An ordinance which shall constitute an interim order of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas to require Centerpoint Energy Entex to publish notice of its changes in rates for a typical residential customer and a typical commercial customer and the changes in service charges in a conspicuous manner; etc.
Ordinance No. 2005-35	An ordinance adopting a budget for the ensuing fiscal year beginning October 1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2006.

Ordinance No. 2005-39	Ordinance authorizing the issuance of $2,445,000 City of Bastrop, Texas General Obligation Bond Series 2005, adopted on November 8, 2005. (This ordinance may be viewed in its' entirety at the Bastrop Public Library, or by contacting the City Secretary's Office.)
Ordinance No. 2005-40	An ordinance of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Chapter 8 to establish the Juvenile Case Manager Fee.

Ordinance No. 2005-42	An ordinance of the City Council of Bastrop, Texas amending Section 10.606 of the Code of Ordinances, entitled "Parking Along Highway 71", to add Section 10.606(D) designating the south side right of way of Highway 71 for 543 feet east and west of the intersection with Tahitian Drive as a no Parking and tow away zone and amending Section 10.609, entitled "No Parking on Certain City Streets" to add Section 10.609(11) designating the right of way on both sides of Tahitian Drive between Highway 71 and Industry as a no parking and tow away zone.
Ordinance No. 2005-43	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas making comprehensive changes to Chapter 11 of the Bastrop Code of Ordinances, Article 11.600 "On-Site Sewage Disposal" applying to on-site sewage facilities within the incorporated areas of the City of Bastrop, Texas.
