2004 Ordinances

Ordinance No. 2004-1	An ordinance annexing a sparsely occupied 25.31(+/-) acre tract of land on petition of area landowner, Sabine Investments Company, pursuant to section 43.028 of the local government code, and providing for an effective date.
Ordinance No. 2004-2	An ordinance amending Bastrop Code of Ordinances, Appendix A Article 7.000, et seq., utility related fee schedule; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 2004-3	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "AOS"- agricultural open space to HxPD-residential, for a 25.31 +/- acre tract of land owned by Sabine Investment Company, which is located in Bastrop County, Texas; and establishing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 2004-4	An ordinance amending Chapter 9 of the Bastrop City Code Exhibit "A", by deleting section 5.50.1 D related to lot size, amending sections 5.70 and 6.110.5 related to building lines.

Ordinance No. 2004-7	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "AOS" - agricultural open space to HxPD-commercial, for a 15.822 +/- acre tract of land owned by Sabine Investment Company.
Ordinance No. 2004-8	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Ordinances Nos. 2003-19 and 2003-36, related to the Hunter's Crossing Planned Development district regarding the time frames for construction of certain improvements required by the public open space plan.
Ordinance No. 2004-9	An ordinance authorizing the issuance of $2,685,000 City of Bastrop, Texas General Obligation Bonds, Series 2004, as adopted on May 11, 2004. (This ordinance may be viewed in its' entirety at the Bastrop Public Library, or by contacting the City Secretary's Office.)
Ordinance No. 2004-10	An ordinance amending Chapter 9 of the Bastrop City Code Exhibit "A", by deleting Section 5.50.1 D related to lot sized, amending Sections 5.70 and 6.110.5 related to building lines.
Ordinance No. 2004-11	An ordinance amending Section 10.503 of the City of Bastrop Code of Ordinances relating to "Speed Limits- Special Schedules" to establish a speed limit of 35 miles per hour for the portion of Old Austin Highway from Loop 150 to the Texas Department of Transportation right-of-way for State Highway 71.
Ordinance No. 2004-12	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas, repealing Section 10.406(a)(10) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Bastrop, Texas relating to the school speed zone on Old Austin Highway, and adopting a new school speed zone on Old Austin Highway.
Ordinance No. 2004-13	An ordinance amending Chapter 9 of the Bastrop City Code, by amending Section 5.50.4 related to driveway restrictions.
Ordinance No. 2004-14	An ordinance amending the Bastrop City Code Chapter 10, Traffic Control, Article 10.400, et seq. related to the location of stop signs within the city.
Ordinance No. 2004-15	An ordinance granting a request for a conditional use permit to allow a discount tire dealership to be located on property at 716 Highway 71 West.
Ordinance No. 2004-16	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Ordinance No. 2003-19, related to the Hunter's crossing planned development district.
Ordinance No. 2004-17	An ordinance granting a request for a conditional use permit to allow a Jiffy Lube Oil Change Facility to be located on property at 722 Highway 71 West.
Ordinance No. 2004-18	An ordinance of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending article 1.300 of the City of Bastrop Code of Ordinances by adopting a new Section 1.304 relating to establishment of a limit on taxes for qualifying individuals pursuant to Article 8, Section 1-b(h) of the Texas constitution and Texas Tax Code Section 11.261.
Ordinance No. 2004-19	An ordinance annexing a sparsely occupied 8.683 (+/-) acre tract of land on petition of area landowners, Bradley Duff and Robert Duff, trustees, pursuant to section 43.028 of the local government code.
Ordinance No. 2004-20	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "A/OS" - Agricultural Open Space to "C-2" - Commercial -2 for an 8.683 +/- acre tract, which is located in the 800 block of Highway 71 West, in the Nancy Blakey Survey, Bastrop County, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2004-21	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "C-2" - Commercial (Heavy) to "SF-7" - Single Family Residential for a 1.490 +/- acre tract, which is located at 506 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
Ordinance No. 2004-22	An ordinance granting a request for a conditinal use permit to allow a mini warehouse, self storage and boat and RV storage to be located in the 800 block of Highway 71.
Ordinance No. 2004-23	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas, amending Chapter 4, Article III "Peddlers" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Bastrop, Texas to read "Peddlers, Solicitors, Vendors, Temporary/Seasonal Vending and Events" and by adding and amending definitions and permitting regulations.
Ordinance No. 2004-24	An ordinance amending Chapter 9 of the Bastrop City Code, by revising Exhibit "A", Subdivisions, to provide for definitions applicable to and rules and regulations establishing standards for the development of suburban subdivisions, to entitled "Section7 - Suburban Subdivision Standards"; Moving and renumbering the now existing Chapter 9, Section 7, entitled "Survey Requirements" to become Chapter 9, Section 14.
Ordinance No. 2004-25	An ordinance annexing a sparsely occupied 1.999 (+/-) acre tract of land on petition of area landowners, Gregory Maynard and Connie Maynard, pursuant to Section 43.028 of the local government code.
Ordinance No. 2004-26	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "A/OS" - Agricultural Open Space to "C-1" - Commercial for a 2,000 +/- acre tract, which is located at 444 Highway 71 West, Lot 1 in the Settlement on the Colorado.
Ordinance No. 2004-27	An ordinance granting a request for a conditional use permit to allow a veterinarian hospital with outside animal pens to be located at 444 Highway 71 - West on Property at Lot 1 of Settlement on the Colorado in an area zoned C1 - Commercial.
Ordinance No. 2004-28	An ordinance amending Chapter 9 of the Bastrop City Code, providing definitions applicable to rules and regulations, establishing standards related to building lines and drainage easements.
Ordinance No. 2004-29	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Section 10.609 of the Code of Ordinances to establish a no parking zone on Hill Street between Cedar Street and Buchanan Street.
Ordinance No. 2004-30	An ordinance adopting a budget for the ensuing fiscal year beginning October 1, 2004 and ending September 30, 2005, in accordance with existing statutory requirements.
Ordinance No. 2004-31	An ordinance levying a tax rate for the City of Bastrop for the tax year 2004.

Ordinance No. 2004-35	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "MF-1"-Multi Family to "SF 3"- Single Family Residential for a 2.622 +/- acre tract, which is located at the 1100 block of Pitt Street, Building Block 132, Bastrop County, Texas.
Ordinance No. 2004-36	An ordinance granting a request for a conditional use permit to allow placement of a manufactured home of property at 1105 Pitt Street, Building Block 132 located in Bastrop, Texas in an area zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential.
Ordinance No. 2004-37	An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Bastrop, Texas amending Section 8.4 of Chapter 12 Planning and Zoning, Exhibit "A" of the City's Code of Ordinances changing the meeting date of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Ordinance No. 2004-39	An ordinance amending Chapter 12, Section 40 of the Bastrop City Code regarding accessory buildings and uses; amending Section 40.2 and 40.3 regarding accessory buildings; creating Section 40.8 regarding accessory uses in non-residential districts.
Ordinance No. 2004-40	An ordinance annexing a sparsely occupied 3.652 (+/-) acre tract of land on petition of area landowner, Jane H. Wright pursuant to Section 43.028 of the local Government Code.
Ordinance No. 2004-41	An ordinance granting a request to rezone from "A/OS" - agricultural open space to "C-1" - commercial -1 for a 3.6500 =/- acre tract, which is located at State Highway 71-West out of the Nancy Blakey A 98 Survey, in Bastrop County, Texas.
