ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX RATE FOR
THE CITY OF BASTROP
FOR THE TAX YEAR 2007
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BASTROP, TEXAS:
That the ad valorem tax rate is hereby levied and adopted on $100
valuation for the City of Bastrop for the Tax Year 2007, as follows:
$0.1952 for the Maintenance
and Operations Fund requirements
$0.3398 for the Interest and Sinking Fund requirements
$0.5350 total tax rate
That the Bastrop County
Tax Collector is hereby authorized to assess and collect the taxes
of the City of Bastrop, employing the above rate;
That said taxes for the
purpose of maintenance and operations will be deposited in the General
Fund of the City of Bastrop and the taxes for the purpose of Interest
and Sinking debt requirements will be deposited in the Interest and
Sinking Fund of the City of Bastrop.
READ and ACKNOWLEDGED on
First Reading on the 18th day of September 2007.
READ AND ADOPTED on Second Reading on the 25th day of September 2007.
