AN ORDINANCE GRANTING
A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT TO ALLOW PLACEMENT OF A MANUFACTURED HOME ON
PROPERTY AT 1105 PITT STREET, BUILDING BLOCK 132 LOCATED IN
BASTROP, TEXAS IN AN AREA ZONED "SF-7" SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Mona Johnson-Williams, (the -Applicant") filed a
request for a Conditional Use Permit for property located at 1105
Pitt Street in Bastrop, Texas to allow a HUD approved manufactured
home to be located in an area originally zoned as "MF-1"
Multi Family and rezoned to "SF-7" Single Family Residential
by Ordinance of the City Council of Bastrop on even date herewith;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10 of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Bastrop, Texas. a public notice has been given, and a public
hearing was held on September 9, 2004 by the Bastrop Planning &
Zoning Commission regarding the request for a Conditional Use Permit
by the Applicant and at that time, the Commission recommended approval
of the request; and
WHEREAS, pursuant
to Section 10 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bastrop, Texas,
a public notice has been given, and a public hearing was held on September
14, 2004 by the City Council regarding the request for a Conditional
Use Permit by the Applicant; and
WHEREAS,
the City Council finds that it is in the public interest to approve
the requested Conditional Use Permit to permit the placement of the
manufactured home on a lot located at 1105 Pitt Street, Building Block
132.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BASTROP, TEXAS:
Part 1: The Conditional Use Permit requested by Mona Johnson-Williams
to allow the placement of a HUD approved manufactured home on property
zoned "SF-7" Single Family Residential (said zoning made
to be effective on even date herewith) at 1105 Pitt Street, Building
Block 132, is hereby approved.
Part 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and in
accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
READ and Acknowledged on First Reading on the 14th day of September,2004.
READ and Adopted on Second Reading on the 28th day of September 2004.
