ORDINANCE NO. 2002-22

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A MANUFACTURED HOME TO BE LOCATED AT 1900 JASPER STREET, BASTROP, TEXAS, IN AN AREA ZONED SF-7 "SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL"; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, Horace Aldridge (the "Applicant") filed a request for a Conditional Use Permit for property located at 1900 Jasper Street ('the Property") in an area zoned SF-7 (Single Family Residential) to allow a manufactured home to be placed on the Property: and

WHEREAS,
pursuant to Section 10 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bastrop, Texas, a public notice has been given, and a public hearing was held on August 8, 2002 by the Planning & Zoning Commission regarding the request for a Conditional Use Permit by the Applicant: and

WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the application: and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bastrop. Texas, a public notice has been given, and a public hearing was held on August 13, 2002 by the City Council regarding the request for a Conditional Use Permit by the Applicant: and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the public interest to approve the requested Conditional Use Permit to permit a manufactured home to be located on the property in an area zoned as Single Family Residential (SF-7).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BASTROP, TEXAS:

Part 1: The Conditional Use Permit requested by applicant, owner of the Property located at 1900 Jasper Street. Bastrop, Texas, to allow the placement of a manufactured home on the Property in an area zoned as Single Family Residents-! (SF-7), is hereby approved.

Part 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and in accordance with the laws of the State I of Texas.

READ and APPROVED on First Reading on the 13th day of August 2002.
READ and ADOPTED on Second Reading on the 27th day of August 2002.
