AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
BASTROP CODE OF ORDINANCES,
APPENDIX A, ARTICLE 4.200, ET SEQ., "ITINERANT MERCHANT OR
VENDOR LICENSE FEES" AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Article 4.200 of Appendix A "Itinerant Merchant
or Vendor License Fees Schedule" needs to be revised to reflect
the new permits and fees created in the amendments to Chapter 4, Article
4.300 of the Bastrop Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS,
it is necessary to amend the Bastrop Code of Ordinances, Appendix A;
Article 4.200, et. seq., "Itinerant Merchant or Vendor License
Fees" to read "Peddlers, Solicitors, Vendors, Temporary/Seasonal
and/or Multiple Vendors and Events License Fees;" and
WHEREAS, in order to enact these revisions it is further
necessary to amend the Bastrop Code of Ordinances, Appendix A; Article
4.200, et. seq., to reflect newly created license fees and amend current
license fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BASTROP, TEXAS:
PART 1: That the Bastrop
City Code of Ordinances, Appendix A; Article 4.200, "Itinerant
Merchant or Vendor License Fees," are hereby amended to hereafter
read as shown on the attached Appendix A to this Ordinance.
PART 2: That all ordinances,
resolutions and orders heretofore passed, adopted and made, or any part
of the same, affecting rates and charges for commercial electric rates
of the City of Bastrop, which are in conflict with this Ordinance, shall
be, and the same are hereby, in all things repealed to the extent that
the same conflict with this Ordinance, or with the laws of the State
of Texas.
PART 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon passage in accordance with prevailing State statutory provisions.
