The City of Bastrop has a designated "dump site," located at Industrial Lift Station, that will be used by all approved Septic Haulers for unloading.
The City currently has seven (7) approved Septic Haulers. All new applications are subject to availabilty in our system and must be approved by the Water / Wastewater Director.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Waste generated by commercial or industrial users is prohibited, along with any waste containing significant amounts of oil, grease, or wastes from sand or grit separators.
COST INCREASE: In order to defray the increasing costs of wastewater treatment, the Bastrop City Council voted on and approved an increase of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Unloading Fees on November 22, 2011, effective as of December 1, 2011. Furthermore, it is the City's intention to increase the rates, by separate ordinances, by not less than 3.5% each year, starting in December 2012, and each succeeding December until December 2020, consistent with the recommendations of the city's staff, K* Friese and Associates and Rimrock Consulting. |
