NOTICE
Due to current watering restrictions, all requests for bulk water must be made in writing to the City Manager - Mike Talbot, requesting a variance from the current watering restrictions. For more information about this process, please contact Traci Chavez or Teresa Valdez at (512) 332-8800.
Bulk water purchases for construction, irrigation or other uses which involve hauling by vehicle or other containers will be billed in accordance with the water rates shown for a 2-inch water meter.
No bulk water will be sold for potable purposes or for normal residential or commercial use. Tanks, vehicles and other apparatus used for bulk water conveyance must comply with all federal, state and local regulations and must be approved for use in conveyance of water by the Director of the Water / Wastewater department.
Minimum deposit per bulk meter (Fire Hydrant Meter) requested: $500.00
Please contact the Utility department at (512) 332-8830 to request a fire hydrant meter and establish service with the City.
Small quantity / short duration purchase of bulk water per one thousand (1,000) gallons or a fraction thereof: $5.00
Please contact the Water / Wastewater department at (512) 332-8960 to request bulk water from our potable water tank.
