The Recreation Department includes funding for the YMCA in addition to other recreational activities approved by City Council.
Goals for the YMCA of Austin in Bastrop area
To research the need for recreational programs and services in the Bastrop area.
To assemble an advisory committee of eight community members to guide and support the direction of programs and services in youth development, healthy living and social responsibility to youth, adults and families.
