They had a social hour beginning at 6:30 p.m., dinner and speaker at 7:15 and then Live and Silent Auctions followed. This group was held at the Smithville Indoor Recreation Center, 106 Gazley Street. He also took photos for our web page.

Jody Conradt, Texas Longhorn Women's Basketball Head Coach was the guest speaker. The Bastrop county aggies were also invited to compete with the Longhorns in a Long throw Basketball Competion.

Proceeds of this benefit the Bastrop county Texas Exes Scholarship fund.

Violet John also attended with Willie Pina who ran for Bastrop County District Clerk and just happens to be a UT exec. Mayor Tom Scott, of course, was a big part of this as a UT person.
