Acceptance of Terms
THIS IS A BINDING CONTRACT
Before you access and use the service available on this website and made available to you by the City of Bastrop and its third party service providers - please read carefully. When you proceed and use the third party service on this web page, you consent to the terms of this agreement and agree to be bound by this agreement. If you do not wish to become a party of this agreement and be bound by all of its terms and conditions, please do not use this service and exit the Online Payment screen.
Services
By initiating a payment, you are authorizing the City of Bastrop or its third party service provider to make a transaction on your credit/debit card account in the amount designated by you.
Assistance in using this option
Should you require help or guidance in using this site, please feel free to contact the appropriate City of Bastrop office for support. The telephone numbers for the City’s Utility office are listed in the Customer Service portion of this Terms of Use.
Access and Submissions
Transactions and communications to and from this Web Site (even using a secure Internet Browser) may be read and intercepted by parties other than the City of Bastrop or its third party service provider. Each user agrees that neither the City of Bastrop nor its third party service provider will be held liable should such interception occur. Any information collected on this website is considered and treated as CONFIDENTAL by the City of Bastrop.
Acceptable Credit/Debit Cards
At this time only Visa, and MasterCard cards are accepted using this service.
Additional Charges
The Third Party Service Provider does charge you a convenience fee to process your payment by credit/debit card. This amount is determined by the amount of the payment you are making. It will automatically be calculated into your total before your payment is processed. This fee is paid indirectly to the Third Party Service Provider for its service.
Utility Payment Policy
Partial payments will not exempt you from penalty or disconnection. All payments are entered in "real time" as they are paid and will be treated as such.
Bills are due in full on the 10th of the month. If you process a payment after 6:45 a.m. on the 11th day of the month your account will incur a penalty.
The bill and penalty amount is then due on the 20th of the month. If you process your payment after 6:45 a.m. on the 21st your account is considered disconnected and additional fees apply.
Making Payments over the Telephone
City Representatives can assist you when paying via the telephone. You must have all of the appropriate information for your credit/debit card payment for it to be processed by our representatives. You will be given a confirmation number for your transaction. Listed below you will find contact information for the City’s Utility office.
City of Bastrop Customer Service and Contact Information
Representatives for the City of Bastrop are available to assist you Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., except holidays. Please contact the appropriate office for which you are making payment. Customer Service Representatives may provide assistance only within the guidelines set forth by this agreement and the City's Utility Service Policy. Customer Service Representatives are not authorized to negotiate any of the terms of this Agreement or of the Service.

You will be able to contact us at these numbers during the hours of 8:00 to 4:30 Monday thru Friday. Any requests made after hours will be replied to the following business day.

THE CITY OF BASTROP IN ANY EVENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE NOR ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES (WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT) RESULTING FROM A DELAY OR ANY OTHER TRANSMITTAL OF A MESSAGE VIA THE SERVICE, WHETHER ARISING FROM USER ERROR, MALFUNCTION OF EQUIPMENT, NATURAL IMPEDIMENTS, NETWORKING IMPEDIAMENTS AND/OR INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION, FAILURE BY YOU TO HAVE SUFFICIENT FUNDS AVAILABLE ON YOUR ACCOUNT, OR BY ANY OTHER CAUSE, AND BY USING THE SERVICE YOU UNDERSTAND THE POSSIBILITY OF THE SAME AND AGREE TO THIS. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE CITY OF BASTROP OR THE THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES THAT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID.
